Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-05
This policy explains what Ballistiic collects, why, and what control you have over it.
What we collect
Account details: your name, email address, a securely hashed password (never the password itself), your role, and the unit or group you belong to.
Training data: drills, sessions, scores, the target photos you upload, and the dominant hand you record, which is used to interpret shot patterns.
Security records: an audit log of significant actions, including the IP address and browser they came from, kept to detect and investigate misuse.
How it is used
To run the service: scoring your targets, showing your history and rankings to you and to the people in your organization entitled to see them, and protecting accounts.
Target photos are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to be scored. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who can see it
You; the unit you belong to and the regulator that oversees that unit; and Ballistiic administrators when operating the service. A personal account's data is not visible to any unit.
To support users, Ballistiic administrators can view any account, including a personal account, as its owner sees it: drills, sessions, scores and target photos. This view is read-only (nothing in the account can be changed through it) and every use of it is recorded in the audit log.
Retention and your choices
Training records are kept so your history stays complete. You can ask us for a copy of your data or for its deletion, subject to any obligation your organization has to keep training records.
